Food is big part of culture: we just want to digging up deeper to tourists who came to Cambodia to show lost dishes that many restaurants never put on sale.

ITINERARY

We will be picked up from hotel by tuk tuk, we bring you to see the most popular park for locals to exercise to promote personal health, we can see the city shrine and royal residential palace all at the first stop.

•    Banh Chev (also spelled Banh Chao or Banh Xev) is a traditional Cambodian savory pancake made from rice flour, turmeric, and coconut milk, giving it a golden yellow color. It’s typically filled with ground pork, shrimp, bean sprouts, and onions, then folded in half and pan-fried until crispy. Served with fresh herbs and lettuce, it’s often eaten wrapped in greens and dipped in a tangy-sweet fish sauce. Banh Chev is a beloved street food and home-cooked dish across Cambodia, celebrated for its rich flavors and textures.

•    Nom Kamchay is a popular Cambodian snack made from glutinous rice flour mixed with chopped Chinese chives. These small, savory cakes are steamed until soft and chewy, then pan-fried for a crispy outer layer. Often served with a sweet and tangy soy-vinegar dipping sauce, Nom Kamchay is enjoyed for its rich, garlicky aroma and satisfying texture. It’s a favorite street food in Cambodia, commonly eaten as a light meal or afternoon snack.

•    Lort Cha is a popular Cambodian street food made from short, thick rice noodles stir-fried with bean sprouts, green onions, garlic, and soy sauce. Often served with a fried egg on top and sometimes mixed with beef or other meats, it’s a quick, flavorful dish enjoyed as a snack or light meal. Lort Cha is known for its chewy texture and savory taste, and it’s commonly found at night markets and roadside stalls across Cambodia.

•    Nom Pang Sach is a Cambodian-style baguette sandwich filled with grilled or roasted meats like pork, beef, or chicken, along with pickled vegetables, fresh cucumbers, cilantro, and chili. Inspired by the French colonial influence, the crusty baguette is light and airy inside, making it perfect for holding the flavorful ingredients. Often served with a touch of pâté or spicy sauce, Nom Pang Sach is a beloved street food, enjoyed for its balance of savory, tangy, and fresh flavors.

•    Chak Chen is a popular Cambodian snack made from ripe bananas coated in a light batter of rice flour, sesame seeds, and sometimes coconut, then deep-fried until golden and crispy. The outside is crunchy, while the inside stays sweet and soft. Often sold by street vendors, Chak Chen is a favorite treat for both kids and adults, enjoyed for its simple yet delicious flavor.
